Please note: Your Writing section score cannot be calculated without submitting an essay score.
Online Exam Instructions:
Questions will appear one at a time.
Select your answer in the answer grid; questions will auto-advance unless you disable that feature.
Once you submit your answers, or your allotted time expires, your test will be graded and your score calculated.

How Do I Score My Essay?
There are two ways to score your essay:

Review the Graded version of the Score 4 Essay, the Graded version of the Score 8 Essay, and the Graded version of the Score 12 Essay.Then decide which graded essay yours is most like. For example, if your essay is a little better than the Score 8 Essay, select 9 from the Essay Scoring Grid.

After reviewing your essay, score yourself in each of the five categories presented in the Essay Scoring Rubric. Calculate your final score by averaging the five category scores. For example, if your category scores are 6, 8, 8, 4, and 8, select 7 from the Essay Scoring Grid below because (6 + 8 + 8 + 4 + 8) /5 = 6.8, which rounds up to 7.
