ePrep in the Classroom is a new SAT study program that was specifically designed for high school teachers who want to give their students an edge on test day. ePrep will provide teachers who sign up for ePrep in the Classroom everything they need to administer the program. In fact, ePrep would like to ship every teacher official ePrep test booklets and answer sheets at no cost. Knowing that shipping may be not be practical or desirable in every situation, ePrep will, alternatively, make printable versions of all program materials available to teachers who so request.
The logistics of ePrep in the Classroom are relatively simple: (Step 1 - Practice) Teachers initiate each of the program’s nine learning cycles by proctoring a short in-class test; (Step 2 - Grade) Teachers then guide their students through the grading process; (Step 3 - Review) Lastly, teachers guide and monitor students as they review ePrep instructional videos individually or as a group. (Whether the review is done by students individually or as a group depends largely upon the number of computers available in the classroom. A minimum of one computer with internet access is, however, required.) Since each of the study program’s nine learning cycles take less than an hour to complete, the entire program can be administered in an equal number of in-school class periods.
Our Proven Preparation Methodology – In Your Classroom!
ePrep in the Classroom was designed around the proven practice-grade-review learning cycle illustrated above. It should be noted, however, that while appropriate teacher input is certainly acceptable during the review phase of the learning cycle, it is by no means required by ePrep’s study program. In fact, ePrep in the Classroom was designed as a stand-alone course that requires of teachers proctorial serves only.
That’s right! Teachers do not have to develop detailed lesson plans (or bone up on their grammar or math skills) in order to administer ePrep in the Classroom. All they need to do is proctor the learning environment, letting ePrep’s online expert do the rest.
